Renowned striking coach Mike Altman has been competing and training fighters at the most elite levels of combative arts competition for 15 years.  Mike has fought professionally on four continents in ten countries, winning numerous national and international titles.  As a trainer, Mike has coached athletes in events such as the 2008 Olympics, Strikeforce, and the UFC.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kickboxing Instructors

Gulled “Coach G” Ahmed: Head Kick Boxing Instructor. Coach G was born in East Africa and immigrated to the US as a teenager. He began training at Houston’s Kickboxing Gym at age 17. He earned an instructors rank under Coach Mike Altman. In 2001, G won the US Open feather weight championship. Coach G has trained and competed in San Shou, Muay Thai, and Full Contact Rules kickboxing. His coaches and training partners have included Coach Mike Altman (USAWKF, IKF,and IWUF champ), KJ Noons (Elite XC and IKF Champ) and Lee King.

 

 

Colin Wright is widely heralded as one of the top young MMA prospects in the city of Houston.  With a undefeated 6-0 record, he has won bantamweight title belts with Houston-based Garcia Promotions and US MMA in Louisiana.  Having trained under the renowned striking instructor, Lee King, Wright teaches skills that can be applied to individuals looking to get in shape, learn self defense, or follow his accomplished path to the octagon.
